… it seems as though these three predators got a call on their mobile devices at the same time, and their takeout orders were ready to pick up … a nice large mouth bass for each of the juvenile bald eagles and fresh rabbit road kill for the raven. So they all left their perches on the branches of a dead tree near the shore and headed out on their missions.

Another nice day and while it was devoid of any major projects, many smaller projects were completed and most important I again got to spend time with friends. One enjoyed her day too and has temporarily given up her hunt for lizards and other prey whilst outside … I have started closing the door to the house when we are outside and without the ability to bring her playmates inside it just isn’t any fun.

Have a beautiful day today and keep smiling … share your joy and smile.

    Cheers,

    Ted

All round is haste, confusion, noise.
For power and wealth men stretch the day
From dawn to dusk. But quietly
    I go my way.

For glitter, show, to taunt the crowd,
    Desire-tossed in wild dismay,
Men sell their souls. But quietly
    I go my way.

The green of all the fields is mine,
The stars, the night, the wind at play,
    A peaceful heart, while quietly
    I go my way.

    Ode to Sleeplessness

    By Amaya Gayle Gregory

I sleep well most nights. This is something relatively new for me. For many years, I was a raging insomniac. I didn’t sleep well last night and found myself meditating around 4am, not so much to get to sleep but for something to pass the time.
