… continuing my way through the portfolio today I cruised through my snow photos and came on this one that I shot in our back yard in April of 2011 … the leaf is from one of the Heavenly Bamboo (Nandida) bushes in our yard after a snow and the melt began as the sun came out. One of those little transient joys that we get to enjoy from time to time. With the early snows at the Peaks, we might be in for a good winter with a few of the snows storms down here. I love heading out with a camera in the morning after a snow storm … and the snow seldom sticks around for more than a few days … the pleasures of winter without the Minnesota factor (or choose your favorite northern tier state).

Lots of work tomorrow and then our ISO gathering in the evening. Also need to get a glass company up here to replace one of our living room windows … seems a golfer had his driver “slip out of his hands” and it made about a 90 degree change in course and took out our window. I was at the airport and fortunately my neighbor had a chat with him and the guy is a good guy and is taking care of the window. In 26+ years we have never had a golf ball in the yard much less an errant golf club. It happens and in the past when I played I took out two large windows in homes on the course … fun!

Have a beautiful day … keep breathing and smile … such a beautiful little planet we call home.

    Cheers

    Ted
