    … been going through past shoots this afternoon and I came on these two shots from Lake Pleasant. The shot above is of a Great Blue Heron in perfect soaring mode (for a fraction of a second) as he cruised by us and a hill above the shoreline … I can visualize myself in my HpH 304CZ ridge soaring that slope … YES! and this is the image as shot and no cropping … it will easily make an 8′ x 4′ print with no degradation in quality … do not have room for one that big, but it will be a 4′ x 2′ to pop in and out of a frame in the dining room that is made to accommodate that size … Love it!

    Below is a photo taken the same day of a Great Egret taking off from the water after stopping momentarily to pluck a fish from the waters on the NE side of Lake Pleasant … maybe we can call it “Take Out.”

    What fun to sift through previous shoots and find ones better than you originally selected for publication!

    Into the weekend … the plan once again is to live each day to the fullest, smile and enjoy the life that has been given to me … wishing you every joy and blessing each day you are here … enjoy life and keep breathing … the essentials 🙂 Back Monday morning.

    Cheers

    Ted

    I ponder o’er myself, indifferently just,
    Breathless in the roaring sea of time.—
    Let me forgive much, forget more;
    Let me close my eyes and fall half asleep,
    That the pictures may grow softer and stiller,
    And the life, O thou God! again grow gentle.
