… a fun thing I do when putting a program together is to revisit the photo galleries from prior years … I frequently find photos that have been overlooked or that are just so good I want to reshare them … start with the original raw file and process it anew with software that is generations ahead of where they were when the shot was taken.
So above is an early morning shot looking north along SR 179 from just north of the Village of Oak Creek and heading into the wilderness area and quickly into Sedona proper. Dark skies are passing over the area and it was a good thing to be breathing and experiencing the beauty and solitude of this area.
Below is a revision of Finley flying over the high desert a few miles north of Cottonwood a couple of years ago … seems strange to have the little guy gone … how many times have you seem an American Kestrel go after much bigger prey … such as a northern harrier? Finley did it … some creatures are also very lucky!
To the lake in a few hours so some sleep is a requisite … create an atmosphere of love in your daily life …
Cheers,
Ted
I bring but this one common thought
My life has wrought;
That from the dregs of drear despair
Still every where
There is a joy I yet may sip—
‘Tis comradeship
With all mankind, the high and low
I know.
