… close the gate … there are reasons why land owners put warning signs on access points to their property … sometimes the reasons are more obvious than others and methinks that in the image tonight the reason could be considered obvious. Query, is there enough protection available to keep the public safe from the owners feline friend?
The image is of course a composite; the underlying image I shot last year off Cornville Road on the way to Cottonwood … I had pulled over to take a shot of Mingus Mountain and Cottonwood being pounded by a heavy rain cell and as I headed back to the car I saw the road and the fence and decided to take the shot for possible use as a background for a composite … the Bobcat is a shot I took about five years ago on an evening walk on the golf course … he let me spend about twenty minutes within fifteen feet of him napping. After a while he decided it was time to head back to his den and yawned expansively before he got up and sauntered off into the wild.
Although I am walking with the camera every day now, I haven’t taken any shots worth keeping, thus the look back. Perhapstomorrow I’ll get a shot I like. A friend gave me notice of a bobcat heading my way on the first, but I never saw him … need to start feeding the birds again; the tweety birds like the birdseed, they attract the raptors which I like and they also knock seed onto the ground which attracts the squirrels and bunnies which attract the bobcats and coyotes … and I get good shots.
Time to wrap the day and anticipate the large mug full of espresso a little later this morning … now doing latte’s with five shots of espresso in it. Have a beautiful day and share a smile with those you meet and greet … life is terrific!

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
