… my daughter Susan reminded me that her favorite photo of Bobcats was of a couple of kittens that were on the roof of my next door neighbors gazebo … so I found it, dusted it off and you can see it below … two Bobcat kittens relaxing on the gazebo roof. They seem to look a little apprehensive as they looked directly at me … they were probably no more than six weeks old and mom was still making the kills for them. Later that week I got photos of them eating a squirrel that mom had brought to them … and I watched her make the kill as she went about six feet into the air and came down on it.
Yesterday I got this shot of a Raven harassing an adult Bald Eagle at Lake Pleasant and as you can see the wind was howling! There were two Ravens taking turns doing close passes by the eagle until he took to flight. I was hoping for a fight where the eagle turned on the Ravens and engaged them in a fight … that would not have turned out well for the Ravens … but our eagle just took off and flew across the bay and resumed his search for food … they favor fish.
Into the weekend and then comes Christmas week and the beginning of the Hanukkah celebration falls on Christmas this year … next time in 2035 and then 2054. So lots to celebrate next week … today too, as we are here now and life is a daily gift … all we actually have!

In addition to sales of photographs already taken Ted does special shoots for patrons on request and also does air-to-air photography for those who want photographs of their airplanes in flight. All special photographic sessions are billed on an hourly basis.
Ted also does one-on-one workshops for those interested in learning the techniques he uses. By special arrangement Ted will do one-on-one aerial photography workshops which will include actual photo sessions in the air.
