… I was on a walk after I got back from the lake yesterday and a neighbor was looking in his yard for his cat (Jazz) who decided to go hunting in the front yard which is filled with shrubbery … within minutes we spotter the little rascal in the shadows under some bushes searching for a meal … the coyote had inspired him!

Also at the lake yesterday was this Great Blue Heron flaring and coming in for a landing … shadows of his feet are on the mud bank, as he is perhaps a tenth of a second from touch down …ankles bent and ready to absorb the impact on landing.

I just finished the presentation for the photography classes this Friday and I’m pretty happy with it … I always think of something else I would like to put in or a change in the order and narrative, but at some point, you just have to conclude it is good enough.

The same holds true in all of life … we prepare ourselves by studying and balancing choices and alternatives, but the moment comes when it is time to act … all the preparedness, studies and discussions are worthless if you do not act and implement the plan … once again I am there and on Friday we’ll see how it goes. Methinks it will be good. Only three weeks until the Mary Fisher Theater shows 🙂

Have a beautiful day and for me it is into the weekend … keep breathing and keep smiling, life is wonderful and we are here to participate in it.

    Cheers,

    Ted

So each one to his wish, and as for me,
    I sit to-night and wait
    In slumb’rous moonlight late,
To feel the freedom of the world in me
Like waves of a shoreless sea.

    The Bloody Machine
    By Tommy Acosta
What is a life anyway? A single “life?” Is it nothing more than a collection of emotions and thoughts, reverberating pain and pleasure, hopes, dreams and fear? Are we merely meat; flesh and blood creations encapsulating what we believe is a soul? Or is a single life the microcosm and macrocosm of human life on earth, each one of us a unique representation of who we believe we are and the whole of humanity at once? We are born. We grow old. We die. Everything we experience is but a dream between those two points. Or are we manifestations of a Divine Creator, every one of us complete in the image that we were made? So, we are told.
