By Ted Grussing
… that last few seconds of flight as you have everything set up and you’re just waiting to touch down … it will happen … and then all kind of other things will happen, but in this brief moment there is nothing you can do except wait for contact with the ground. Sometimes life seems that way too, when you make plans and implement them and then wait to see if you get the anticipated outcome …
A good day … got all the heavy snow (light stuff too) off the top of the shade covering Mariah so that I can now get the posts out and thus her. Too tired after I finished it to go fly today, but perhaps tomorrow. A lot of photo work today too and tomorrow I resume work on the book.
Life is beautiful, patience a necessity, breathing a fundamental requirement. Have a beautiful day today and live it … each and every moment!!!
Smiles
Ted
Lift my eyes from the earth, and let me not forget the uses of the stars.
Forbid that I should judge others, lest I condemn myself.
Let me not follow the clamor of the world, but walk calmly in my path.
Give me a few friends who will love me for what I am;
And keep ever burning before my vagrant steps the kindly light of hope.
