It’s foggy here in the Northwest today. What a great analogy for life — fog that is. We see through a fog of beliefs, wading deeper into the fog bank with every, ‘yes, that’s it!’ we take in. Once we accustom ourselves to thriving on the merciless fog, it is nearly impossible to stop, to quit inhaling the self-replicating particles.

Each one’s fog bank is a bit different. Some are filled with the false joy of certainty, others with the density of doubt but they are all made of the same stuff, the illusion of something that is, the delusion that what is can be named, can be owned, that at last, something is lasting, is real.

Now and again the fog clears, splintering the facade of knowing, sneaking in like a thief to steal the holy certainty, the trickster knowing, the deprecating doubt, wiping the slate clean … for a moment, one moment of bliss when all belief simply drops.

That should be enough to initiate all-in, no backing down, at any cost surrender but it normally isn’t. Instead, it stirs up the exact opposite, the search, amplifying the seeker. Earth is seeker realm: pleasure, status, comfort, answers, certainty. The blissful event, the experience beyond experience, rather than opening into surrender, points the seeker in a new direction, thereby maintaining the status quo. To the game, it really doesn’t matter what you are searching for as long as you are searching. Hide ‘n seek continues.

What happened in that moment of bliss? What took place that felt so natural, so real, maybe even a little scary? The mind stopped. In its place, standing in for all the beliefs and concepts, was life itself, life as it is, not life as you want it to be, imagine it could be or even a more spiritual version you think will replace it all once you awaken, but life exactly as it is now.

You see, life as it is now, is bliss, is heaven, is love-in-form. You run from life as it is, but you’ve only ever seen life as it is, the real thing, in snatches of bliss, in glimpses of mystery. What you think is life, is life on the drug of your beliefs and concepts, not life at all but a skewed imagining.

Searching, continuing to seek, can only take you further from life as it is. Do you see that? Every step you take towards something better, towards a more spiritual understanding, towards the real you, must take you further from life as it is, into the mystical graveyard of your mind.

If you see this, you are ready, primed to stop.

There is no appropriate bio for Amaya Gayle. She doesn’t exist other than as an expression of Consciousness Itself. Talking about her in biographical terms is a disservice to the truth and to anyone who might be led to believe in such nonsense. None of us exist, not in the way we think. Ideas spring into words. Words flow onto paper and yet no one writes them. They simply appear fully formed. Looking at her you would swear this is a lie. She’s there after all, but honestly, she’s not. Bios normally wax on about accomplishments and beliefs, happenings in time and space. She has never accomplished anything, has no beliefs and like you was never born and will never die. Engage with Amaya at your own risk.  www.amayagayle.com
