Camp Verde Community LibraryCamp Verde AZ (June 15, 2021) – Camp Verde Community Library and Camp Verde Parks & Recreation are partnering to bring a Dino-Encounter to Camp Verde kids and families attending Summer Camp and/or participating in the Library’s 2021 Summer Reading Program. Meet in the Gym/Community Center at 395 S Main Street, Camp Verde AZ at 2:00p on Monday, June 28th for a free summer event that is sure to be a treat.

Let’s face it… dinosaurs are amazing. This is an opportunity for children and adults alike to feel that sense of amazement through a dino-encounter that helps visualize these intriguing animals roaming the earth. DinoCrew Entertainment specializes in bringing the dinosaurs to life! Between car-sized mechanical dinosaur suits and lifelike puppets, children will experience the closest thing possible to a dinosaur encounter. The interactive experience includes a large dino and a baby dino, several games, a dinosaur trainer, music, pictures, and a fossil dig.

Be sure to bring your camera to get photos of your child’s Dino-Encounter. For more information about this or any other summer library program, call the Children’s Library 554-8397 during library open hours Mon – Thu 9:00a-8:00p or Fri – Sat 9:00a-5:00p.

One can only feel sorry for those who cannot comprehend the government’s response to the breech of the capital on January 6, with many, even pundits, claiming it was only a peaceful occupation. Regardless if one sees January 6 as a full-scale riot/insurrection or simply patriotic Americans demonstrating as is their right, the fact is the individuals involved went against a symbol, and this could not be allowed or go unpunished.
