    Sedona News – Sticks and Tones returns to the stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 4:00 p.m., bringing their special performance of “A Winter Holiday World Tour” to Sedona audiences.

    Join us for a warm and festive afternoon of music and storytelling that explores winter holiday traditions. This journey through the season’s diverse cultural celebrations is filled with rhythmic vibrance from the joyous sounds of Las Posadas in Mexico to a classic German carol and the radiant colors of Diwali in India. Along the way, we’ll visit Sephardic Spain, Great Britain, Native American traditions, and Japan’s” Oshogatsu” (New Year).

    Wrapping up the festive spirit, enjoy favorite seasonal tunes perfect for kindling warmth and cheer. This immersive program brings together cultures and traditions, offering an inviting December celebration for all.

    Maria and Henry Flurry’s performances are more than concerts — they are sensory experiences that leave audiences inspired and captivated. Sticks and Tones’ infectious stage presence and mastery of diverse musical traditions have garnered accolades across the United States in concert halls, schools, libraries, and with orchestras.

    Since 2001, the Flurrys have shared their creativity and passion with audiences, combining their classical training with a deep love of world music to create dynamic, engaging performances for listeners of all ages.
