    logo_ycsoCottonwood AZ (July 5, 2019) – Today Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating Jackie Joseph Duval.  His last known address was in Cottonwood on Cyprus Street. Duval is wanted on several offenses not the least of which are Child Abuse, Robbery, Resisting Arrest and Aggravated Assault and Felony Flight from Law Enforcement.  He has two different warrants for these each with a $25,000 bond.

      Charges:  Child Abuse, Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Damage.
    • DOB 08/14/1984 (34 year old)
    • 5 feet 9 inches tall
    • 165 pounds
    • Brown hair and brown eyes

    If you have information that leads to the arrest of #5 of “CATCH 22”, you could earn a $500.00 cash reward.  To earn the reward, you must call Yavapai Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232 or submit at tip at www.yavapaisw.com.  Remember, all calls are anonymous, and you never have to give your name.

    Starting July 1st, Yavapai Silent Witness is highlighting one fugitive each day in an attempt to garner the public’s assistance in locating these individuals so law enforcement can take them into custody.  Each day through July 22nd a new fugitive will be highlighted and a $500.00 cash reward will be offered for information that leads to the arrest of the fugitive.  Nine cases cleared from the last running of this program.

    The Sad Lesson of Tyre Nichols

    Having grown up in the mean streets of the Bronx there is one lesson we learn early on, and that’s don’t mess with the cops when they got you down, and outnumbered. The beating of Tyre Nichols at the hands of the police preceding his death at the hospital could have been avoided if only he had the sense to not resist them. People fail to understand that on the streets, cops are basically “God.” You can’t fight them. If it takes one, two, five, ten or twenty officers they will eventually put you down and hurt you if they have to in the process of detaining or arresting you. In the Bronx we would fight amongst ourselves but when the cops came it was “Yes, officer. No, officer,” and do our best to look as innocent as possible. People need to understand that cops on the street represent the full power of the state and government. Read more→
