Sedona News – The Sedona Sister Cities Association is excited to host the 2024 Arizona Sister Cities State Conference themed “Finding Common Ground: At the Heart of Creating, Revitalizing, and Growing Sister Cities.” This event will take place on November 15th and 16th at Yavapai Community College in Sedona, attracting participants from Sedona’s Friendship Cities and across the US.

The conference will be the first time Arizona Sister Cities hold its convention in Sedona. We anticipate representatives of Sedona’s Friendship City, Canmore, Canada, as well as city officials from Jaslo, Poland, to attend. We want to impress all our guests, and our Association is seeking financial and in-kind support for this unique convention.

The conference opens on November 15th with the first Annual Sedona Sister Cities “Mayor’s International Dinner,” featuring fine wine, international flavors, engaging conversations, and visionary insights. On Saturday, facilitators will share emerging practices and help examine Sister Cities endeavors to promote peace through mutual respect, understanding, and cooperation.
