City of Sedona ArizonaSedona AZ (July 1, 2014) – The City of Sedona Parks and Recreation Department cordially invites all animal lovers and dog owners to support our fourth annual A Dog’s Day Out in the Park.  This pet friendly event takes place on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the multi-use field at Posse Grounds Park.  This event is free for those interested in playing with their dogs on the beautiful grass field.

Let us help you pamper your pooch with fun doggy stations.  There will be free dog nail trimming, dog baths, dog brushing, free dog licensing (with proof of rabies vaccination), and a mobile vet on site with discounted vaccines.  There will be “off leash” fenced-in areas with a kiddie pool for the small and large dogs to play in.  Bring a ball and have some fun with your dog.

    Compassion Has no Party

Whether you are Republican or Democrat, liberal or conservative, one truth remains: the vast majority of people on this planet are, at their core, decent. They believe in fairness, in dignity, and in the simple idea that other human beings matter.
