Sedona AZ (July 1, 2014) – The City of Sedona Parks and Recreation Department cordially invites all animal lovers and dog owners to support our fourth annual A Dog’s Day Out in the Park. This pet friendly event takes place on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the multi-use field at Posse Grounds Park. This event is free for those interested in playing with their dogs on the beautiful grass field.
Let us help you pamper your pooch with fun doggy stations. There will be free dog nail trimming, dog baths, dog brushing, free dog licensing (with proof of rabies vaccination), and a mobile vet on site with discounted vaccines. There will be “off leash” fenced-in areas with a kiddie pool for the small and large dogs to play in. Bring a ball and have some fun with your dog.
Parks and Recreation will hand out free doggie travel bowls to the first 50 dogs through the gate. Enjoy the green grass and shade, pet friendly exhibitors as well as goodies for sale. Join us for this fun and interactive event with your pet. Posse Grounds Park is located at 525 Posse Ground Road.
We encourage all friendly owners and their well-behaved dogs to be a part of this day. All breeds are welcome. Please have dogs on leashes. For more information, contact Parks and Recreation at 282-7098 or 203-5011 or online at www.SedonaAZ.gov/Parks.
