Sedona, AZ — On Saturday, January 17, the Sedona Heritage Museum and The Artists Consortium (TAC) will host the first ever Art in the Apple Shed.  The event will start at dawn and continue through 2:00 pm.  It is free to attend.
The event will feature artists at work in all sorts of media – oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, and even charcoal.  The artists’ subject matter will include plein air, still life, animals, portraits, abstract, and representational works.  Visitors will have an opportunity to visit with painters at work to learn about their artistry.  Artists will be selling their works during the event.

“This community event is exactly what Sedona needs,” said Skip Daum, founder of TAC.  “It brings together seasoned and young artists demonstrating their considerable skill for the benefit of our residents and visitors.  It’s part of my effort to revitalize Sedona through art.”
Admission to the Sedona Heritage Museum will be free for the day.  The Museum and its gift shop will operate during normal hours, 11 am to 3 pm, but visitors are encouraged to come early, stay late, and enjoy the artists and their art.
Art in the Apple Shed is produced by TAC.  The event is a collaboration between the Museum and TAC.  The Artists Consortium was founded in June 2025 by Skip Daum, and seeks to bring artists together in a public forum in an effort to revitalize Sedona through art.
The Sedona Historical Society operates the Sedona Heritage Museum located in Jordan Historical Park, 735 Jordan Road in Uptown Sedona, Arizona.
Open daily 11 am – 3 pm.  For more information call 928-282-7038 or visit www.sedonamuseum.org.
