Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “Trust in Love” showing Aug. 9-15 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre.
“Trust in Love” is the winner of more than 30 awards in film festivals around the world.
Record producer Mickey Ferrera, struggling with career, marriage, and his relationship with his family, slowly learns to recover them all.
Mickey Ferrara (Jimi Petulla) teeters at life’s crossroads: his record producing career is going down the tubes, his estranged wife wants a divorce, his son is struggling with his sexuality, and the only one he can count on is his beach bum brother Bobby (Tim Hazelip), who might just make things worse.
From the trenches, Mickey the warrior decides to just “trust in love” so maybe, just maybe, one by one he can put it all back together and make one more good record.
Diving deep into the heart of resilience, “Trust in Love” is based on a true story. The film navigates the everyday hardships of family dynamics in a comedic way. By shedding light on contemporary trials and tribulations, the movie resonates with audiences of all generations.
“Trust in Love” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre Aug. 9-15. Showtimes will be Friday and Saturday, Aug. 9 and 10 at 6:30 p.m.; and Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 12, 14 and 15 at 3:30 p.m.
