    Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the Northern Arizona premiere of “The Fox” showing May 10-15 at the Mary D. Fisher and Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatres.

    An introverted young farm laborer, indentured and seemingly abandoned by his poor family as a child, volunteers for Austria’s army but soon finds himself part of Nazi Germany’s vast military machine.

    Based on the true story of Franz Streitberger — the director's great-grandfather — critics and audiences are calling “The Fox” profound, inspiring and heart-wrenching.

    When he discovers an orphaned fox cub, he adopts it and clings to it as the last vestige of his humanity amidst the carnage of WW2.

    Critics and audiences are calling “The Fox” profound, inspiring and heart-wrenching — one of the best animal-human bonding dramas you will ever see.

    “The Fox” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher and Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatres May 10-15. Showtimes will be Friday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m.; Saturday, May 11 at 12:30 p.m.; Monday, May 13 at 4:00 p.m.; and Wednesday, May 15 at 3:30 p.m.
