Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to join theaters around the world for a global theatrical event: “Still Playin’ Possum: Music and Memories of George Jones” on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre.

“Still Playin’ Possum: Music & Memories of George Jones” is an All-Star Tribute Concert featuring Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Jelly Roll, Tanya Tucker, Wynonna, Sam Moore, Travis Tritt, Jamey Johnson, Lorrie Morgan, Trace Adkins, Justin Moore, Joe Nichols and more.
This all-star tribute honors one of the most influential, storied and beloved country music stars in history, recorded live at the sold-out show that marked the 10th Anniversary of Jones’ passing on April 25, 2023. George achieved 79 Top 10 and 10 #1 hits, including “He Stopped Loving Her Today,” which is widely recognized as the greatest country song of all time.
“Still Playin’ Possum: Music and Memories of George Jones” will be shown at the Alice Gill-Sheldon Theatre on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 general admission, or $13 for Film Festival members.
