Sedona News – Mary D. Fisher Theatre hosts a 2nd Annual one-hour Christmas Benefit Concert on Friday, Dec. 20 at 7:00 p.m.
This year, around twenty singers are lending their vocal expertise to sing songs of praise and Christmas classics. Proceeds will benefit a local family of three to help pay medical bills.
The program consists of song selections from Verde Valley Voices Choir, worship favorites, an original song by Greg Benedetto and charming instrumentals from the Sedona Community Handbells.
“Jesus is the reason for the season, and I’m honored to be a vessel for entertaining fellowship amidst resounding joy while giving back,” says producer, Alissa Tyler.
Special guest conductor, Joy Simons of the Verde Valley Voices, will provide original arrangements for Christmas songs like you’ve never heard before.
“This is what Christmas is about, sharing moments of love and worship with others, even strangers, and coming away blessed with God’s goodness,” says Simons.
The Christmas Show Benefit will take the stage at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Friday, Dec. 20 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15. For tickets and more information, please call 928-282-1177. Both the theatre and film festival office are located at 2030 W. Hwy. 89A, in West Sedona. For more information, visit: www.SedonaFilmFestival.org.
