logo_campverdecommunitylibraryCamp Verde AZ (October 2, 2019) – One day only, Saturday, November 9 from opening at 9:00a to 4:00p Camp Verde Community Library will transform into a gaming venue to host the first ever Verde Valley Game Con. The Library and Camp Verde Youth Advisory Council is partnering with Game On from Prescott to bring this exciting event designed for all-ages, skill-levels and interests to the Verde Valley.

Game Con aims to have something for everyone. From Twister and UNO in the Children’s Library to a variety of board games, card games, video games, role-playing games, and tournaments scattered throughout the rest of the building. Want to try a new board game or play an old favorite? Head upstairs to the Game Library to check-out one of many board games provided by Game On to play with friends. Want to take on your friends in a Mario Kart or Super Smash Bros. tournament? We have you covered in the Video Game Room. Fancy a game of chess or dominoes? Grab you friends and start a competition. Have you ever wanted to play as an elf scout or a wizard casting arcane spells in Dungeons and Dragons? Roll a character and join a one-shot beginner campaign! Do you have a competitive or casual Magic: The Gathering deck, or want to learn how to play? Join in a tournament or just come and learn how to play for fun.
