Sedona News – Twelve  members of the Rotary Club of Sedona Village teamed up with local firefighters to weed and clean up the yard of a retired firefighter and disabled veteran Village neighbor.

The two-hour project, filled with camaraderie and community spirit, was made light work thanks to many helping hands.

Will Trezise, project chair, stated, “Our Club’s mission is to ‘improve people’s lives, locally and globally, through service’; we’re pleased to work with our local firefighters to help Craig improve his yard.”

This effort was part of the Rotary Week of Service, during which Village Rotarians will also volunteer at the Manzanita Outreach Food Bank on April 26.

So much crime and soooo many Bigly lies!

One of my guilty little pleasures is imagining what I would do if I was in someone else’s shoes, especially politicians. In this essay I would love to jump into the shoes of Curtis Sliwa, a former New York City vigilante who founded the Guardian Angels and is now running as a Republican for mayor of his city.
