Flagstaff AZ (February 28, 2012) – All snowplows in the Flagstaff area are fully deployed and all state roadways remain open, at this time.

The Flagstaff area has seen moderate snowfall since last night. Arizona Department of Transportation crews spent the overnight hours removing snow and ice from the roadways and will continue to work to keep the roadways open and passable throughout this storm.

However, conditions may rapidly change and while ADOT is prepared to continually respond to this storm, motorists should be prepared when driving through the region. That includes becoming more familiar with safe driving tips and carrying a winter preparedness kit in your vehicle. This information can be found on ADOT’s Know Snow website at www.azdot.gov/knowsnow. Before heading out on the roads, drivers are encouraged to call 5-1-1 or log on to ADOT’s Traveler Information Center at www.az511.gov for the latest highway conditions around the state.

In the Bronx we would fight amongst ourselves but when the cops came it was “Yes, officer. No, officer,” and do our best to look as innocent as possible. People need to understand that cops on the street represent the full power of the state and government. Read more→
