The City of Sedona and contractor, Combs Construction Company, will be doing nighttime road improvement work on the northbound and southbound lanes of State Route (SR) 89A in Uptown Sedona Aug. 12 – 18 on the stretch of road between Forest Road and L’Auberge Lane.
Work will happen at night between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. to minimize the impact to businesses and residents. The planned schedule is as follows:
- DATES: Aug. 12, 16, 17
- TIMES: 10 p.m. – 7 a.m. the following morning
- LOCATION: SR 89A, from Forest Rd to L’Auberge in Uptown
Single or alternating lane closures will be used to ensure SR 89A is accessible during the nighttime work. Drivers can use Forest Rd as an alternate route to bypass the area entirely.
Please note: Access to businesses by car will be possible during the nighttime work; direct outreach to area businesses is happening with details about the impacts of the project.
