Northern Arizona Climate Change AllianceFlagstaff AZ (November 22, 2020) – Your climate needs your help and the Northern Arizona Climate Change Alliance (NAZCCA) is making sure that happens. If you’d like to help, then on December 12, in just two hours from 5 to 7 p.m., you can make a huge difference from the comfort of your home.

That’s the date for NAZCCA’s annual FUNdraiser: A Celebration of Climate Action. It’s a virtual night of education and fundraising that will help the organization continue it’s work to inform and engage people from all walks of life to join a broad and diverse climate movement. NAZCCA seeks to raise awareness of the threats of climate change and empower residents to organize and work to reduce human impact on climate.

The highlight of the night is the keynote will be given by Navajo Climate Activist Nikki Cooley from NAU’s Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals.

There will also be a silent auction featuring the work of local artists, Colorado River trips, personal therapeutic massage, meals at delectable restaurants, Norwegian deserts, Small Business Marketing Packs from Yuloff Creative Marketing Solutions, an evening with author Dr. Frances Riemer, a private screening of A River Reborn: The Restoration of Fossil Creek with the film’s producer Dr. Stefan Sommer, and much more.

The FUNdraiser Celebration will give you a chance to compete in a game of climate change trivial pursuit, win the door prize, engage in climate solutions storytelling, and get a chance to win climate raffle prizes. Meet others in your community who are concerned about climate change. Test your knowledge about climate change and share your solutions.
