    Yavapai County, AZ –  MATFORCE, a primary prevention organization that is dedicated to preventing youth drug use before it starts, has announced the opening of their creative competitions designed for the youth of Yavapai County.

    2026 #StayHealthy Essay Contest

    Yavapai County high school students, it’s time to unleash your writing skills! We invite you to participate in our annual essay contest, which encourages students to promote #StayHealthy lifestyles. Start brainstorming and get your words on paper. You could win one of the following prizes:

    • 1st place: $500

    • 2nd place: $300

    • 3rd place: $100

    • Honorable mention: $50

    Guidelines and contest rules are available online at matforce.org/youth. The deadline for all essay entries is March 13, 2026. Please contact MATFORCE at  info@matforceaz.org or at (928) 708-0100 for information.

    Stand With Me, Be Drug Free® Design a Poster Contest

    MATFORCE, in partnership with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, is excited to announce the launch of their annual poster contest. This contest is open to all Yavapai County youth and is a fantastic opportunity to express your creativity while promoting a drug-free lifestyle.

    Prizes include:

    • Grand Prize: $500 for the winner in each of the two grade categories (K-6 and 7-12).

    • Age Category Prizes: $50 Amazon gift cards.

    • Honorable Mentions: $10 Amazon gift cards.
