Sedona, AZ (May 17, 2021) Kaleidoscope Redrocks sister duo from Sedona/VOC are honored and thrilled to bring the only live music to the 10th Annual WOOFstock on Saturday, June 12th, 2021 at the Prescott Valley Civic Center from 12-2pm with free admission.

The WOOFstock event is an Adopt-A-Thon offering canine adoptions from various rescues and demonstrations going on all day long starting at 10am until 3pm.

Just make sure you check out and listen to some great music played by young, seasoned musicians.

Playing songs spanning more than 50 years from classic rock, country, folk and pop; these young ladies perform authentic interpretations of many popular songs from yesterday through today!

Gracie, 15, plays drums, guitars, keyboard and sings and her 12 year old sister, Tivona plays guitars, bass, ukulele, keyboard and sings with harmonies only sisters can create!

Plus, 100% of your generous tips will be donated to Pets Return Home, a puppy and dog rescue rehabilitation ranch in Clarkdale. Owner and behaviorist, Mark Happe, has saved over 600 dogs to fulfill his mission, “saving lives, building families,” based on his belief “it’s never too late to rehabilitate.”

    The Symbolism of Jan. 6

    By Tommy Acosta
Don’t mess with symbols. Just ask author Dan Brown’s character Robert Landon. The worth of symbols cannot be measured. Symbols make the world-go-round. Symbols carry the weight of a thousand words and meanings. Symbols represent reality boiled down to the bone. Symbols evoke profound emotions and memories—at a very primal level of our being—often without our making rational or conscious connections. They fuel our imagination. Symbols enable us to access aspects of our existence that cannot be accessed in any other way. Symbols are used in all facets of human endeavor. One can only feel sorry for those who cannot comprehend the government’s response to the breech of the capital on January 6, with many, even pundits, claiming it was only a peaceful occupation. Regardless if one sees January 6 as a full-scale riot/insurrection or simply patriotic Americans demonstrating as is their right, the fact is the individuals involved went against a symbol, and this could not be allowed or go unpunished.
