Sedona, AZ — In most cities, nightlife is an escape. But in Sedona, nightlife is a return—to self, to spirit, to the rhythm of the Earth. This mystical desert town has long been a haven for seekers, healers, and creatives. And now, a new wave of conscious nightlife is redefining what it means to “go out” after dark.

At the heart of this movement is Humankind, a transformational venue in West Sedona that has become a sanctuary for those who crave more than entertainment—they seek elevation. Here, music is medicine, and every event is curated as a journey from ceremony to celebration.

The Power of Ceremony in Nightlife

Before the first beat drops or body moves, many evenings at Humankind begin with a ceremonial container. These ceremonies may include the BioCharger, sound baths, breathwork, meditation, or even cacao rituals—offering participants a space to ground their energy, clear the mind, and set intention.

This shift from passive entertainment to intentional participation is what distinguishes Sedona’s conscious nightlife. It reminds us that music isn’t just something to listen to—it’s something to experience, to embody, and to integrate.

    Friday Evenings: A Two-Part Journey

Frequency Fridays (5–7 PM) initiate the weekend with healing frequency. The BioCharger, a cutting-edge bioenergetic device, delivers revitalizing energy to the body, while the sound bath gently harmonizes the mind and spirit. This unique combination creates a powerful vibrational reset, making it ideal for those looking to de-stress, reflect, or recharge.

Then at 8 PM, the space transforms. CTRL+F (Find the Frequency) begins—a high-vibration DJ dance party that merges movement, mindfulness, and music. More than just a night out, CTRL+F is a pulse-point for Sedona’s dance culture, offering a mix of house, tribal, world bass, and ambient electronica in a safe, alcohol-free space where everyone is welcome.

RIZING: The Sacred Sunday Dance (if no special events are being hosted)

On Sunday evenings, the community returns for RIZING, an ecstatic dance event rooted in the principles of free expression, emotional release, and embodied prayer. Beginning at 6 PM, RIZING unfolds as a wordless, barefoot, judgment-free space where participants are encouraged to listen deeply—to the music, their bodies, and the collective field.

No two RIZING events are alike. Whether it’s a live musician, ceremonial guide, or guest DJ, the energy is always crafted with presence and intention, helping dancers integrate their week and prepare for what’s ahead. It’s not uncommon for tears, breakthroughs, or spontaneous joy to erupt on the dance floor.

Music as the Bridge Between Worlds

Across cultures and traditions, music has always served as a bridge—between the physical and spiritual, the individual and the collective, the mundane and the mystical. In Sedona’s conscious nightlife, this role is honored and amplified. Music becomes the thread that weaves through ceremony and celebration, turning each event into an opportunity for transformation.

Whether you come for the healing frequencies, the dancing, or the connection, the weekend gatherings at Humankind offer something that’s increasingly rare in nightlife: meaning.

    Join the Movement

Sedona is calling. And for those ready to dance with intention, connect with heart, and celebrate in alignment—Humankind is holding the door open.
