Sedona, AZ, November 1, 2025— The Humane Society of Sedona is thrilled to announce the opening of its “Make a Bid for the Fur Kids” Online Auction, taking place November 1 through November 16, 2025. This fundraising event invites supporters, animal lovers, and community members to bid on a wide variety of exciting items all to benefit the hundreds of homeless animals cared for by the shelter each year.
From original artwork and collectibles to gift baskets filled with local favorites, this year’s auction offers something for everyone. The event’s showstopping highlight comes from the American Fundraising Foundation (AmFund), which has generously partnered with HSS to provide eight once-in-a-lifetime luxury travel experiences.
Bidders will have the opportunity to win dream vacations to world-class destinations such as Africa, Greece, Paris, Florence, Spain, Zurich, Edinburgh, and the Amalfi Coast, each including 4-star accommodations and three years to travel with no blackout dates, and most including roundtrip airfare for two.
“We’re incredibly excited to offer such unique opportunities this year,” said Jennifer Brehler, Executive Director of the Humane Society of Sedona. “Every bid placed in this auction helps us continue our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. It’s a fun and meaningful way to support the shelter, whether you’re bidding to win a special gift,  planning your next getaway, or simply helping the animals.”
In addition to the exclusive AmFund travel packages, participants can bid on an array of local treasures generously donated by Sedona businesses, artists, and supporters. The auction is entirely online, allowing bidders from anywhere to join in on the excitement and help make a difference for animals in need.
All proceeds from the auction will directly support the Humane Society of Sedona’s lifesaving programs; providing shelter, medical care, and second chances to homeless pets across Northern Arizona.
Bidding opens Saturday, November 1 and closes Saturday, November 16.
