Arts Academy of Sedona launches monthly Third Friday series at its NEW theatre space

Sedona, AZ — The Arts Academy of Sedona (AAS) announces the next presentation of its popular Friday Night at The Theatre program on Friday, January 16, 2026, from 7:00–8:30 p.m. The evening marks both a New Year celebration and the continuation of a monthly cabaret series held on the third Friday of each month, now hosted at AAS’s new theatre space, The New Room (Sedona UMC), located at 110 Indian Cliffs Rd, Sedona, AZ 86336.

In recognition of the New Year, this cabaret-style event—Ushering in the New Year—will showcase a vibrant mix of music, dance, recitation, and drama, featuring a diverse lineup of local performers. Audience members can expect an engaging evening with musicians, singers, dancers, poets, and spoken-word artists, all coming together to celebrate creativity and community.

The January lineup includes Gary Every, Sedona’s Poet Laureate, along with Shaeri Richards, Ivory LaNoue, Craig Schneider, Sandi Schenholm, Terra Shelman, and Steve Jenness. Guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments provided by Cater AZ and a welcoming cabaret atmosphere.
