SEDONA, Ariz. – The city of Sedona continues to work on flood recovery efforts. Now that emergency and utility vehicle access has restored in the areas with significant damage to roadways, the city is working to help with debris removal and damage assessment. Below are resources and information on options and a request for homeowners to report their damage to the city.

All Flood Damaged Homes and Structures – Owners Please Fill Out This Form
The city of Sedona is asking all residents to fill out this form and to provide pictures of the outside, inside, and structures that have flood damage. This will help the city assess damage and may be helpful as the city moves forward on the possibility of flood damage reimbursement funding. While it is not certain if Sedona will qualify, the city wants to document the damage to the best of its ability. The form will help identify those who need help disposing of flood waste, so they can be connected with potential resources.
    Debris Disposal Options
As of Nov. 5, Sedona residents affected by flooding currently have three debris-removal options:
    City of Sedona Dumpster Site
    Location
    :  2070 Contractors Road
Contact: Public Works Department, (928) 204-7111
This is for flood-affected Sedona residents and businesses only. Use dumpsters for flood debris, silt, soil, and other flood-cleanup waste—NOT personal household disposal, bulky items, or hazardous waste.

    “You-Fill” Dumpsters
The city has been working to put dumpsters in areas with flood damage and debris. The dumpsters will begin arriving as soon as Fri. Nov. 6. Please only put in items and waste shown on the signage on or near the dumpsters.
    The locations are:
    • 20 Bear Wallow Lane
    • Portal Lane (just off of Tlaquepaque)
    • 55 Trails End Ln.
    • 1081Trails End Dr.
    Hazardous Waste and Bulky Items
Affected residents may bring flood debris, bulky items, and hazardous waste to the following address:
    • The Water Treatment Plant City Material Yard, 7700 W. State Route 89A, Sedona, AZ 86336, south of the Sedona Wetlands Preserve.
      Hours: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
Please bring ID or utility bill to verifies your Sedona address.
    Free Yavapai County Debris Disposal
    • Closest transfer station:
      • Camp Verde: 2600 E. State Route 260; open Tuesday–Saturday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
      • View additional transfer-station locations.
      • Accepted flood debris: Water-damaged furniture, carpet, padding, drywall, household goods, bagged trash, yard debris, mud-soiled vegetation, and residential demolition materials.
The city continues to look for ways to support our impacted community members with debris removal and other recovery resources. Please visit the www.sedonaaz.gov/floodrecovery webpage for the latest information.

(October 12, 2026) – The Arizona Wine Country Artists Village returns to Old Town Cottonwood for its final autumn showcase from November 20–22, 2026. The free outdoor fine art and craft fair runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Organized by Jerome-based artists John and Lauri Maeder of PBSW Events, LLC, and hosted by the City of Cottonwood, the November event presents a brand-new weekend for art lovers, holiday shoppers, and wine country visitors to engage directly with premier regional creators. “Where Art Comes to Life” serves as the driving vision for the event, which offers an interactive alternative to traditional retail shopping. Attendees can watch live artistic demonstrations, learn the techniques behind handcrafted works, and purchase one-of-a-kind, investment-quality pieces directly from the makers. Held at the Old Town Activity Park (187 E. Pima Street), the pet- and family-friendly grounds sit just steps from Main Street’s vibrant collection of tasting rooms, local dining, and boutiques within the federally recognized Verde Valley AVA. Highlights for the November 20–22 Showcase: Curated Juried Art: A lineup of top regional artists and craftspeople showcasing original studio works across various mediums. Interactive Community Scavenger Hunt & Raffle: A scavenger hunt featuring donated artist originals, with entries eligible for a $500 cash grand prize drawing. Hands-On Children’s Art Tent: A dedicated creative zone where young visitors can craft their own projects. Established in 2024, the quarterly Artists Village series continues to bolster the local creative economy while celebrating the unique intersection of fine art and wine tourism in Northern Arizona. The fair is held four times each year. For more details regarding the Arizona Wine Country Artists Village, visit the official website at https://artists-village.com.
