Sedona News – The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the summer encore of the Met Opera’s “Il Barbiere di Siviglia” (from the 2014 season) on Saturday, Aug. 12 at 1 p.m. at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre.
In this 2014 Met production of Rossini’s madcap comedy, mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard, tenor Lawrence Brownlee, and baritone Christopher Maltman join forces for a delightful performance of hilarious hijinks and vocal virtuosity. Michele Mariotti conducts.
“Il Barbiere di Siviglia” from the Metropolitan Opera will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Saturday, Aug. 12 at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 general admission, or $13 for Film Festival members.
