COTTONWOOD, AZ —
Today is the day Cottonwood gets another great place to have lunch at and this great new place happens to be BV’s Italian Kitchen.
‘Breakfast may start the day and dinner may get all the romance, but somewhere between the two sits the meal that too often gets treated like an afterthought.
Not anymore.
At BV’s Italian Kitchen, lunch is about to become the jewel of the day.
Beginning at 11 a.m. and continuing until 2 p.m., Executive Chef David Moraga is turning midday dining into something worth slowing down for. Forget grabbing something forgettable because the clock says noon. This is lunch the Italian way—freshly prepared, satisfying, full of flavor and meant to be enjoyed.

Chef David brings a lifetime of restaurant experience to the kitchen. He grew up learning the craft alongside his parents in their family restaurants. His philosophy at BV’s is refreshingly simple: start from scratch, use quality ingredients and make food with love.
And you can taste that philosophy.
The new midday menu gives you plenty of reasons to arrive hungry, with soups, crisp salads, hearty sandwiches and Italian specialties, including Pinsa—Rome’s wonderfully different cousin to traditional pizza, made with hand-pressed dough that’s crisp outside and light and fluffy inside.
Then there are the flavors that have made BV’s a Verde Valley favorite: house-made sauces, Italian comfort food and the unmistakable aroma of a kitchen where somebody is actually cooking rather than merely assembling your meal. Chef David and his crew understand something every Italian grandmother already knew: good food doesn’t need gimmicks. It needs time, ingredients, technique and somebody in the kitchen who gives a damn. Chef Moraga’s approach emphasizes scratch cooking, including fresh pasta and sauces.
So why should dinner have all the fun?
Take a real lunch break. Bring a friend. Bring the office. Bring the person you’ve been meaning to catch up with for six months. Or come alone, settle into a chair and give yourself permission to turn the middle of an ordinary day into something delicious.
Because breakfast may wake you up.
Dinner may wind you down.
But at BV’s Italian Kitchen, lunch just might be the meal you spend the whole morning looking forward to.
