Clarkdale Historical Society and MuseumClarkdale AZ (June 23, 2020) – Clarkdale Historical Society and Museum (CHSM) has been awarded an $8,000.00 grant from Arizona Humanities.

Working under a tight deadline and unable to meet face-to face, the CHSM Board of Directors applied for the grant to offset the cancellation of fundraising activities.  The money awarded will help alleviate the financial loss due to the Covid-19 imposed fundraising event cancellations and Museum closure. It will primarily be used for archival supplies, website management, on-line outreach activities and building utilities expenses.

The grant is funded by the Congressional CARES Act Emergency Relief Fund through the National Endowment for the Humanities.
