    Cataloging Historic Artifacts for the Verde Historical Society

    Verde Historical SocietyCottonwood AZ (January 18, 2021) – Betty Gaudy, volunteer at the Verde Historical Society’s Clemenceau Heritage Museum, is shown cataloging some of the many paper documents from the historic Bank Of Clemenceau recently donated by Kathy Pascum of Phoenix, AZ. The collection includes cancelled cashier checks, savings account record books, mortgage and loan forms, and various other paper documents involved in the operations of the bank during the early to mid 1900’s.

    The original Bank of Clemenceau is now located on the grounds of the Clemenceau Heritage Museum at the Willard and Mingus roundabout. It served the community of Clemenceau once located in the area around Willard and Mingus.

    Gaudy has been volunteering for the society since 1988, and for the museum archives since 1990, when the museum first opened.

    Watching the latest debate from end to end once again it appears that the future of the GOP rests upon the shoulders of Vivek Ramasamy. Not sure exactly why but he simply outshines the pack. He has fresh energy and is light on his feet. He’s smart, confident and slick. He has snap. Crackle and Pop. He is young. A successful businessman and fearless. He is like a young Trump apprentice, full of vim and vigor and ready to rumble. Everyone else on the debate stage appeared dull, cranky or lifeless. Halley looked like she was suffering from a terminal case of constipation and badly needs a wardrobe manager. Christie looked like someone who bit into an apple, found a half-eaten worm, and decided to eat it anyway. DeSantis just keeps getting more and more boring; a somnambulist on Percocet.
