logo_campverdechamberCamp Verde AZ (July 2, 2013) – Camp Verde Chamber of Commerce invites members and community to a fundraising mixer on Wednesday, July 10th at their new location at Verde Portal, 325 S. Main St, inside the Boler’s building, from 5-7pm, for the fallen firefighters of the Yarnell fire.

Members are encouraged to bring their rack cards and business cards to put up at the new space. The mixer will be a great opportunity to reconnect with members, re-new memberships and get back involved with the Chamber. The fundraiser mixer will include a raffle, and wine and hors d’oeuvres provided by Verde Portal.

The mixer is free, but a suggested donation of $5 is requested and tickets for the raffle will be $1. All proceeds of the mixer will go to support the families of the nineteen fire fighters lost on Sunday.

One can only feel sorry for those who cannot comprehend the government’s response to the breech of the capital on January 6, with many, even pundits, claiming it was only a peaceful occupation. Regardless if one sees January 6 as a full-scale riot/insurrection or simply patriotic Americans demonstrating as is their right, the fact is the individuals involved went against a symbol, and this could not be allowed or go unpunished.
