Sedona, AZ — Theres a new live music venue in town and for sure it’s going to make a big splash here in Cottonwood, Arizona.

It’s called BV’s Italian Kitchen Patio, located on the front patio of the Verde Lux Hotel and the music is revving up and getting ready to go, with live music being offered 6 days a week, Monday through Thursdays, Friday and Saturdays.

The line up so far incudes some of the best performing musicians in the area, including Sedona.

The first show kicked off on Thursday, April 23, with Patrick Ki and Robin Miller, followed by Rick Busbea and Christy Fisher on Friday and Saturday.

If you missed seeing these performing artists you now have a second chance, with The Van Reed Brothers performing Wednesday, April 29, from 5:30 to 8:30; Patrick Ki and Robin Miller on Thursday, April 30; Rick Busbea on Friday, May 1; and Christy Fisher on Saturday, May 2. All shows are from

Ki and Miller are one of the best duos in town, handling those guitars like true virtuosos. Miller is a prolific songwriter with many albums under his belt. He has a golden voice and in harmony with Ki’s delightful guitar playing, they form a musical bond that captivates audiences.

Award winning singer/songwriter, Christy Fisher, is a “one girl band” that brings a show full of pop, rock, soul,

groove – and good vibes! Putting a twist on the 70s to present, her show covers forgotten favorites from artists like R.E.M.,The Eurythmics, and Elvis Costello as well as the best of Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Linda Ronstadt ;  The Eagles, and many more

Her original songs won an album of the year award from the International Singer and Songwriters Association. An audio engineer and multi-instrumentalist, she creates percussion and accompaniment effects that go far beyond a “solo girl with a guitar”. Her powerful vocals have been described as “Grace Slick and Annie Lennox with a bit of Ella on the side”

    Rick Busbea

Rick Busbea’s music is categorized as Country Rock, but that’s misleading as he plays a wide variety of music – everything from Willie Nelson to Michael Jackson (even an LMFAO song).  He developed a notebook called Rick’s Jukebox that gives the audience the power to decide the music.  This results in a lively, audience-participation evening with the music genre constantly changing.

The Van Reed Brothers can play just about anything one can come up with. These two players elevate live music two new heights. Sax vs. Guitar weave a dance one cannot help but fall in love with. These guys are the real deal. They rock!

So, make it a point to spend a night beneath the stars at BV’s Italian Kitchen Patio and immerse yourself in great live music and delicious Italian food.

    BV’s is located at 301 AZ-89A, Cottonwood, AZ 86326 • Phone: (928) 277-8467.
