Sedona News – As part of an effort to make sewer system expenses commensurate with fees, on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, the Sedona City Council adopted a resolution and ordinance to increase sewer rates by 3.6%. The new rates will become effective on October 1, 2024. For example: Residents on low-flow billing currently pay $47.52, and their rate will increase to $49.23. Sedona News – As part of an effort to provide more consolidated parking in Uptown, the city of Sedona’s contractor Fann Contracting will begin excavation of the Uptown Parking Garage on Monday, Aug. 19, 2024. Arizona News – Several roads located in the Schultz Pass area of the Coconino National Forest’s Flagstaff Ranger District will reopen to motorized vehicles tomorrow following a roughly two-year closure due to the Pipeline Fire.
