Sedona News – The Sedona Heritage Museum will host an exclusive show and sale of handmade jewelry by Sedona artist Rebecca (Becky) Diehl Anderson on Thursday, March 10 at the Museum, from 4-6 p.m. Becky was a respected artist, both a painter and maker of exotic woven and beaded jewelry, who showed her work in Sedona galleries. Sedona News – An autopsy confirmed the identity of the body, found Feb. 26, 2022, in the Verde River near the Tunlii Crossing, as that of Valentin Rodriguez, the suspect wanted in the Feb. 9 shooting of Yavapai-Apache Police Sgt. Preston Brogdon. The official Medical Examiner reports are still pending, and the FBI is continuing its investigation. No further details are available at this time.
Sedona News – As the State Route (SR) 179 Sewer Main Replacement Project: Phase 2 nears completion, the city of Sedona and their contractor, Standard Construction Company, will continue conducting night work and road closures over the next week as crews work to finish repairing additional sewer main that was discovered to be damaged as well as repair concrete that was damaged during sewer repair. SEDONA– The 100 Women Who Care Sedona-Verde Valley Chapter’s chosen recipient at their recent Giving Circle is the Verde Valley Sanctuary. The nonprofit received $13,350. This award was distributed on February 22nd at Twice Nice Thrift Store in Sedona.
