Verde Valley News – Grant applications are being accepted now by the Coconino Resource Advisory Committee (RAC) for projects that can be funded under the authority of the Secure Rural Schools and Communities Self-Determination Act. The primary location for projects must be on federal lands within Coconino County, which includes the Coconino and Kaibab National Forests, and small sections of the Prescott and Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests. Sedona News – The city of Sedona seeks one applicant for a seat on the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) Local Board as one member’s term approaches expiration. The PSPRS Local Board administers the pension system for the Sedona Police Department and follows the rules of the PSPRS system and Arizona Revised Statutes.
