… another day in the books and methinks it was pretty good. Working on the portfolio and am finally at the point where I go through the uploaded images and sort everything into the subject folders that I created seven years ago … and contain all photos before 2017. The young wild burro above is walking along a ridge…

Katie got out when I was carrying…

By Tommy Acosta — Sedona, AZ –How could they be so stupid? Didn’t Hamas know that by doing what they did they gave Israel the moral green light to go in and destroy their country? Raping women, killing children beheading babies. What the heck were they thinking? They had to know that they would be annihilated for such heinous acts. Yet, they went ahead with them anyway. It just doesn’t make sense. They forced the hand of their most bitter enemy and handed their heads over to them on a silver platter. The images of the destruction of Northern Gaza,…
By Tommy Acosta — Sedona is known throughout the world as a spiritual destination point where the land and those who live upon it march to the beat of a different drummer. Compassion. Love. Inclusivity and enlightenment are pillars upon which this community is sustained. Yet, something happened a few days ago that made me question if this is really true. I was at dinner at a local restaurant with a fellow community resident, whom I had thought to be a compassionate person. Quite off-handedly he asked me how I felt about a city plan to provide safe parking for…
By Amaya Gayle Gregory I was sitting here thinking about how little I know and laughing … well giggling might be more accurate. Having always needed to know, to figure stuff out, to raise my hand first with the right answer, I find it hilarious to realize that nothing I thought I knew remains. The instant that This revealed itself, showing itself for what it is, everything fell apart, so far apart that Humpty Dumpty will never be put back together again … and it seems, taking all desire to do so as well. Since that moment, I, this I…
