What a massive disappointment this had to have been for council members who thought the results of this study would bolster their arguments that indeed OHVs are dangerous, not just because of their potential for crashes, but also in terms of noise and air quality, and…

By Amaya Gayle Gregory Have you noticed? Whenever someone dies, someone important to the freedom days of our youth, someone who meant something to us along the pathway of our grand unfolding, someone whose life was simply tangled up with our own, we mourn. It doesn’t seem to matter if that person was enduring immense pain, taken out in a flash of light unexpectedly, or passed unawares only to be discovered at some later moment, something within us feels it was too soon and we mourn. The other day, I went looking for two friends, a couple who I hadn’t…
… the photos may not be perfect because I took them with my phone, but they do give a pretty good idea of how beautiful the newest pendant came out. I carved a piece of black nephrite jade and cut the opal from an incredible 18 carat piece of rough I had … the finished gemstone weighs 4.25 ct. The stone is an intense solid color bar! Black jade is not really black but is an incredibly saturated green … so much so that it appears to be black … the sludge that comes off as you grind it is…

Sedona, AZ — Humans have been killing each other since the beginning, as depicted in the biblical story of Cain and Abel. Thew photo above is a Ring Billed Gull that was wheeling around a quiet bay looking for food near the surface of the water. Their aerobatic maneuvers are an absolute delight…
