Verde Valley News – Northern Arizona Healthcare (NAH) is excited to announce it has entered into a cancer care coordination agreement with City of Hope to help treat complex or rare cases of cancer in northern Arizona. City of Hope is one of the largest cancer research and treatment organizations in the United States. Sedona News – As part of an effort to make sewer system expenses commensurate with fees, on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, the Sedona City Council adopted a resolution and ordinance to increase sewer rates by 3.6%. The new rates will become effective on October 1, 2024. For example: Residents on low-flow billing currently pay $47.52, and their rate will increase to $49.23. Residents on standard billing currently pay $61.11, and their rate will increase to $63.31. Commercial customers will see 3.6% increases on their current rates.
