Sedona, AZ — Get ready for an evening of big laughs and unforgettable entertainment as the Arts Academy of Sedona presents Fallin’ Into Laughter, a one-night-only stand-up comedy showcase on Friday, November 6, at 7:00 p.m. in The New Room at Sedona United Methodist Church.
The evening will feature four dynamic comedians whose unique styles, sharp wit, and engaging storytelling promise something for everyone. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
Headlining the evening is Gene Moore, an Army veteran and nationally touring comedian who performs as many as 250 shows each year. Known as “the voice of nice people,” Gene combines his warm personality, impeccable timing, and keen observations about everyday life to create an evening that leaves audiences laughing long after the show ends.
Joining him is Cierra Renee Miranda, a Phoenix-based comedian whose fearless, high-energy comedy has been lighting up stages across Arizona since 2008. Known for turning everyday frustrations—from public restrooms to office life—into laugh-out-loud moments, Miranda’s quick wit and relatable observations have made her a favorite throughout the Southwest.
The lineup also features Jarrett R. Ransom, award-winning speaker, emcee, nonprofit executive, and the personality behind Nonprofit Nerd®. Renowned for blending humor with authentic storytelling, Ransom brings her infectious energy and quick wit to the comedy stage, proving that laughter can be found in even life’s busiest moments.
Rounding out the evening is Joshua Rivedal, a Philadelphia-based comedian, actor, and author whose voice has been featured in national commercials for Dell, McDonald’s, Dunkin’, and Johnnie Walker. A veteran performer of both stand-up comedy and one-man shows, Joshua’s clever storytelling and observations on modern life make him a standout performer.
“Comedy has a unique way of bringing people together,” said Camilla Ross, Executive Director of the Arts Academy of Sedona. “In a world that often feels heavy, laughter reminds us of our shared humanity. We’re thrilled to bring together such an incredible lineup of comedians for an evening that celebrates joy, connection, and the simple pleasure of laughing together.”
Fallin’ Into Laughter continues the Arts Academy of Sedona’s commitment to presenting diverse artistic experiences that enrich the cultural life of the Verde Valley. While the Academy is known for theater, music, poetry, and educational programming, this special event shines a spotlight on the art of stand-up comedy and the power of laughter to build community.
