    Arbor Day ceremony broadcast online

    The Arbor Day Tree Planting Ceremony on Friday, April 24th will be broadcast on Facebook Live

    Northern Arizona Climate Change AllianceCottonwood AZ (April 14, 2020) – Along with the City of Cottonwood and the EcoCulture Restoration Center at NAU, NAZCCA will plant several donated trees throughout Cottonwood. Mayor Elinski will share the City of Cottonwood Arbor Day Proclamation. A Commemorative plaque will be presented to Cottonwood at the event. Please join us for the Arbor Day Tree Planting Ceremony on Friday, April 24th at 9:00AM until 10:00 AM.

    This event will be streamed LIVE on the NAZCCA Facebook page.

    The event is co-sponsored by Friends of the Verde River. The Sustainability Alliance is also in support of the tree planting.

    What is a life anyway? A single “life?” Is it nothing more than a collection of emotions and thoughts, reverberating pain and pleasure, hopes, dreams and fear? Are we merely meat; flesh and blood creations encapsulating what we believe is a soul? Or is a single life the microcosm and macrocosm of human life on earth, each one of us a unique representation of who we believe we are and the whole of humanity at once? We are born. We grow old. We die. Everything we experience is but a dream between those two points. Or are we manifestations of a Divine Creator, every one of us complete in the image that we were made? So, we are told.
