SEDONA, Ariz. — The city of Sedona invites eligible 501(c) organizations to apply for fiscal year 2026-2027 funding through two grant opportunities beginning Monday, March 2, 2026: the Small Grants Program and the Arts and Culture Organizations Grant Program. Applications are due by Noon on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Awards will be finalized in July 2026 by the City Council.

    Small grants program

The Small Grants Program supports activities, programs and events developed by 501(c) organizations that serve the public and provide community benefit. Eligible programs include those that promote public health, safety, general welfare and the overall well-being and prosperity of Sedona and its residents. Individual grant awards typically range from $2,000 to $20,000. The total Small Grants funding is $350,000, with a minimum of 40% allocated to the arts, 40% to human services and 20% determined by the grants committee.

Arts and culture organizations grant program

Sedona-based nonprofit arts and culture organizations may apply for funding through the Arts and Culture Organizations Grant Program. This program will provide $200,000 in grants to support eligible organizations that strengthen community identity, foster creativity and enhance Sedona’s cultural vibrancy. Eligible organizations may apply for grants ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 to support programming, festivals, marketing or creative initiatives that serve residents and contribute to Sedona’s artistic and cultural landscape.

Details and applications for both grant programs are available at www.sedonaaz.gov/grants.

An optional applicant workshop will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at City Hall. All grant applicants are strongly encouraged to attend. RSVP with Executive Assistant to the City Manager Kristie Turck at kturck@sedonaaz.gov or call (928) 203-5199 no later than Monday, March 16, 2026.
