Sedona, AZ — With Spring Break approaching in Sedona  interest for staycations are up, as families and friends look for a home not so far from home. We’ve seen searches for staycations in Sedona increase by 6% among Sedonans

As Sedonans  consider an Airbnb for their staycation, we’re sharing a reminder of our party policies and booking rules to help encourage responsible stays during spring break.

    • Party prevention: Airbnb has a strict ban on disruptive parties and our reservation screening technology aims to help identify potential higher-risk reservations and help prevent those bookings from being made.

    • Third-party bookings are prohibited on Airbnb and adults should not book Airbnb stays for others, including minors. Bookings can only be made by users ages 18 or older and the booking guest must be present for the stay. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult throughout their stay.

    • Enforcement: Breaching our policies can lead to account suspension or removal, having future trips canceled, and financial responsibility for any property damage caused during a stay.

    • Airbnb support: Our 24/7 Safety line is available if a host or guest has an urgent concern. Local residents can report urgent issues  to our Neighborhood Support Line, such as a potential party in progress at a home they believe may be listed on Airbnb.

    • Law enforcement: In the rare instance of an issue, like an allegation of a disruptive party, where law enforcement might need Airbnb’s support with a criminal investigation, we have a dedicated team ready to support via our Law Enforcement Portal.
