    ACF of Sedona and ACF of Yavapai County invite local scholarship providers to present to local students

    logo_arizonacommunityfoundationSedona AZ (September 17, 2019) – The Arizona Community Foundation of Sedona and Arizona Community Foundation of Yavapai County welcome local community groups to participate in the annual Cash for College Scholarship Awareness Nights. Sponsored by Yavapai College, each of the two events will provide opportunities for area students, families, and local educators to learn more about the postsecondary scholarships available for both traditional and non-traditional college students.

    If you provide a scholarship supporting students in Sedona and the Verde Valley, please join us and register online using the information below. The deadline to register as a scholarship provider for this event is Friday, October 18, 2019.

    CASH FOR COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP AWARENESS NIGHT – PRESCOTT

    • 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
    • Yavapai College, Verde Valley Campus, Community Room – Building M., 1st Floor
    • 601 Black Hills Drive, Clarkdale

    At both events, registered scholarship providers will have a table where they can present application requirements and other important information to interested students in order to increase awareness and community engagement. An informational document that includes a brief description of all represented opportunities will be distributed during the events to give students and parents a reference guide cataloguing the available scholarships. Scholarship providers met with over 300 students at last year’s events.

    Local community groups as well as staff from ACF of Yavapai County and ACF of Sedona will be available to answer questions and share information. The events are free and open to the public. Are we merely meat; flesh and blood creations encapsulating what we believe is a soul?
