    Sedona News – In honor and an early celebration of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), “Coco” returns to the big screen in Sedona on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

    The Sedona International Film Festival is proud to present the return one-show-only engagement at 4 p.m. at the festival’s Mary D. Fisher Theatre.

    Feel free to dress in costume — if you wish — and come enjoy the festivities of Dia de los Muertos with this special screening with Day of the Dead treats, food and fun — all included in the ticket price! Prizes will be given for the best costumes.

    Despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector, and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.

    “Coco” will be shown at the Mary D. Fisher Theatre on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 4 p.m. Guests may dress in costume, if they wish. Tickets are $12, or $9 for Film Festival members.
