… and she wanted you to see and admire the beauty of her hitting full stride as she heads back to our home … the hunt was over and time to come in for the meal that she missed out back … then to curl up on her very own Ekornes Stressless recliner chair in the living room whilst I have my dinner and relax. I’m sure she was dreaming of future hunts and bringing her own food home … she does that kind of thing too.

The photo below is another shot of the Saber fire taken six weeks after the first shot. At this moment in time the fire had been grown to over 3,000 acres … it was perhaps 10 acres in the image in the photo last night and that was after 10 days of activity before that. A week after that photo the paper reported the fire had grown to over 2,000 acres … all done by man as it was designated a managed fire and the goals were established.

The smoke was flowing down West Fork and dead ended in Oak Creek Canyon at the top of the photo, turned right and flowed down Oak Creek Canyon into Sedona and the Verde Valley. Not very healthy air, week after week for about two months. It is beautiful and mystical though.

Into the weekend for me … have a wonderful weekend too, smile and pray for the well being of all our citizens wherever they may be in this world …

    Cheers,

Keep thou yet on the way thou lovest best,
For none of the world knows it as thou,
And all the precious facts that are thy life
Therefore, this brief distress that grieves thee so,
Let pass, dear heart, let pass.
